Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
God made it to where you can see the invisible through the visible creation. The creation shows you Jesus Christ himself. You can also see how the devil wants to ruin every part of the creation.
Genesis 1-2 CREATION
Days Of Creation
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Day 1 = LIGHT
V.3 “Let there be light”.
The devil sees the light, so he counterfeits it. (2 Cor 11:14)
God is light and in him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5, John 8:12)
Day 2 = Firmament
Gen 1:8 – “called the firmament Heaven”. (What you might call outer space)
Heb 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
Heb 1:11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
Heb 1:12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
Day 3 = Grass, Trees, plant life.
V.11 “the earth brought forth”.
“All flesh is as grass”. (1 Peter 1:24).
In Isaiah 53:2 it refers to Jesus Christ as a “tender plant”.
Jeremiah 23:5 calls the LORD a “righteous branch”.
Isn’t it something that God made the very thing he would shed his blood for your sins on?
1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
The devil sees the trees, so throughout the Bible you see the devil uses trees in his places of worship. (Groves, high places).
He uses trees to make carved images.
Day 4 = Sun, moon, stars.
V.16 – “greater light to rule the day and a lesser light to rule the night.” “He made the stars also”. M
The sun pictures Jesus Christ. (Mal 4:2)
Jesus is called the day star (2 Peter 1:19).
The bright and morning star. (Revelation 22:16)
The devil sees it, and he ends up having men worshipping the sun, the moon, and the stars.
Day 5 = Sea creatures and birds.
V.20 “fowl that may fly in the open firmament of heaven”.
The Holy Spirit “descends like as a dove”.
Unclean spirits are pictured by unclean birds.
Ecc 10:20 Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
Rev 18:2 the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
The devil, is called a dragon, and leviathan. Isaiah 27:1 calls him the dragon that is in the sea.
The devil sees it, ends up tempting men to worship the creatures.
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Day 6 = Land animals and humans.
V.25 – God made the beast of the earth.
The devil sees it, and throughout the Bible you’ll see men worshipping “golden calves”.
Obviously he tempts people to worship other men also.
God gives man dominion over everything, of course the devil is angry.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth
Chapter 2 – More information on the creation of Adam and Eve.
No rain yet.
Gen 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Gen 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
Man formed from dust.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Out of dust = body. Breathed into nostrils = spirit. Became a living soul = soul.
Something interesting about Adam is he was made a man. He didn’t have to experience being a baby, a child, a teenager…he was created a full grown man that was already intelligent and could name the animals.
Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
As a kid on any video game I played I would “create a player”…and remember the old games where you could make your own city.
Well the LORD made his own planet and put the characters on it. And he is letting it play out by allowing them to make their own choices.
Your not going to give him any spoilers because he already knows the choice your going to make before you make it.
Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Gen 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
Gen 2:11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
Gen 2:12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
An interesting thing is that the same things are found in Lucifer’s body in Ezekiel 28.
Ezk 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Genesis 3 = The fall of man.
Of course the devil is envious of man’s dominion. He sets out to destroy him and he does.
2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
1Ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Gen 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Genesis 4 – The devil begins to attack the seed, moving Cain to murder Abel.
Cain murders Abel and ends up going to build the first city.
Genesis 4:17 says “Cain knew his wife and she conceived.” Cain would have had to of married his niece or his sister. There wasn’t nobody else.
He wouldn’t have had grandparents or a mother n law. (If he married his sister.)
When he went to history class it was pretty much all about his own dad. (Adam)
Genesis 4 also shows us that Adam and Eve had passed down the proper way of sacrifice to Abel who offered the firstling of his flock. (A bloody animal sacrifice)
Genesis 5 – Generations of Adam
A long list of people and who their father and sons are. You think it is boring, but people are interested in people.
Once you get familiar with the Bible characters and make them your friends, you will get more interested in their family tree.
They even have sites like ancestry.com because people are so interested in who came before them.
You might think this line of people had nothing to do with you, but it actually does because this is the line of Jesus Christ, the promised seed. You got to get interested in his line.
Many times at work someone says to me “who was your daddy, who was your momma? aren’t you related to so and so?”
The world is very concerned with who is married to who and how long someone lived.
My papaw would always be reading the obituary’s in the paper. (Concerned with who died and how old were they)
This is exactly what Genesis 5 is. List of men who lived a long time and then how old they were when they died.
It always sticks out to me the long lifespans in Genesis. The oldest person today doesn’t even come close.
“As of April 9, 2025, the oldest living person is Inah Canabarro Lucas, a Brazilian nun born on June 8, 1908, making her 116 years and 304 days old”
Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
We don’t know when Adam fell in the garden but we do know that it had to be before he was 130
Because of this verse. And obviously many years before that because Cain and Abel were already fully grown back there in Genesis 4.
Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
Gen 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
No matter how long a man lives, he’s going to die! Unless the rapture happens, which is pictured by Enoch being translated and not seeing death.
Gen 5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
Gen 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Gen 5:25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
Gen 5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
Gen 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
The next main character..
Gen 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
