Isa 1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
The “Vision”. Before there was a complete bible the LORD would talk to men through “dreams” and “visions”.
Num 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
Now the LORD makes himself known to me in the scriptures only. He speaks to me through the word of God in the King James Bible.
Now that we have a perfect, inspired, and preserved word, He talks to us through the 66 books of the KJB and it is a “more sure word of prophecy”. (2 Peter 1:19)
Isaiah’s dad is “Amoz” but not Amos the minor prophet.
Isaiah was a prophet to the southern kingdom of Judah during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah.
So even though Isaiah is after the books of the kings in your bible, he is actually prophesying at the same time those guys are reigning.
Compare to how presidents of the past got advice or preaching from Billy Graham or Trump got advice from Paula White.
What they need is preaching from real bible preachers like Danny Castle, Donnie Dalton, David Hoffman or someone who will tell them the truth.
Isaiah had a LONG ministry of over 50 years. He “fought a good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith”. (2 Timothy 4:7)
Isaiah is going to tell you what he “saw”. Just as John tells you about what he “saw” with his own two eyes. (Rev 1:1-2)
The Wickedness of Judah
Isa 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
Notice how Isaiah chapter 1 will match the first book of the bible, Genesis. He says “O heavens and O earth”. What did he say in Genesis “in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”.
He says “the LORD hath spoken”. This matches “and GOD SAID” in Genesis 1:3.
So “hear” because the LORD has “spoken”.
God actually talks to His creation contrary to what people think. God is actually open for you to talk to him 24 hours a day for your entire life. He never closes.
The LORD brought up children in Genesis, Adam and Eve. Than the children of Israel.
He said “I have nourished and brought up children”. But his children have “rebelled” against him. Does this mean God is a bad father? Absolutely not. It proves man has a freewill. God doesn’t force you to choose the right way.
Just because a parent has a rebellious son doesn’t necessarily mean they are a bad mother or a bad father. A child has to choose of his own freewill to submit to the parent. And no matter your tactic of parenting, if they don’t submit, you can’t get them to do anything.
Genesis shows you man’s rebellion against God in Genesis 3 when man ate from the tree.
Isa 1:3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
Pro 14:4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
2 Timothy 2:15 says to be a “workman that needeth not to be ashamed”. An OX is a worker. If our “master’s crib” is the “word of God”, for most Christian’s their crib is clean. Their bible looks like it was just bought yesterday. But if you are a work man it is filled up. You can see the signs of age and wear and marks.
“The ox” knows his owner, as does “the ass”. They know who gives them a place to live and food to eat. Yet most people have no idea who is allowing them to have everything they have.
When you don’t acknowledge God as being the one who gives you everything you have, than you are like a dog who thinks he is putting a roof over his own head and providing his dog bones for himself.
Isa 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
Israel is the “Sinful nation”. Doctrinally this is to Israel. Practically it could apply to America or any other sinful nation. We could even apply it to ourselves because if we are “sinful” then we get “laden with iniquity”. That means we are loaded down with it.
Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
The more you sin the more harder the path will be. Proverbs 13:15 “…the way of transgressors is hard…” It will be like a kindergartner trying to carry a grown man’s overly filled hiking backup. You’ll fall over. And “iniquity” will be your ruin. (Ezekiel 18:30)
But Jesus said…
Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
The “seed of evildoers” will match the serpents seed of Genesis 3:15. Chapter 1 of Isaiah matching up with Genesis once again.
He also calls them “a seed of evildoers”. Their seed will just be more evil.
2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
The worse you are, the worse your kids might be, the worse they are, the worse your grandkids will be. That is, unless they get a hold of God.
He also called them “children that are corrupters”. It’s no different today, his children are corrupters. Just about every church you know corrupts the word of God with the modern versions of the Bible. In this nation it gets destroyed from the bottom up, it is many times the youth that brings in the new sinful trends. (The rappers, singers, popular actors are young)
2Co 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
What you have today is guys getting up claiming that they believe the word of God and yet they correct it and can change it without it effecting their conscience one bit.
They have “forsaken the LORD”. They don’t think about him one way or the other. They don’t want to “retain God in their knowledge”.
They have “provoked the Holy one of Israel unto anger”. That is a deity of Jesus Christ verse. In Acts 3:14 it says they denied “the Holy One”. That Jesus Christ.
They provoked the LORD to anger. We should be angry over sin because God is angry about it.
Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Mar 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts,
He said they are “gone away backward”. Yet we are supposed to “press toward the mark for the prize”. (Philippians 3:14). When Moses was in front of the Red Sea the LORD told him to tell the people to go FORWARD. (Exodus 14:15)
In the time of Jacob’s trouble you’ll have people “draw back unto perdition”. (Hebrews 10:39). That is, to the SON OF PERDITION!
Joh 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Joh 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
Joh 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Anytime you are “gone away backward” from the LORD you are focusing on the temporal and not the ETERNAL.
Isa 1:5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
This matches Genesis again, 6:5 specifically. This is where their thoughts and imagination of their heart is only evil continually.
Why should ye be “stricken anymore”. Why should God whip them anymore? They have gotten so rebellious that the spankings no longer humble them.
Jer 5:3 O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
“The whole head is sick”. They are “sick in the head” as they say. The whole “heart faint”. So their thoughts and imaginations are completely in the gutter.
Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Isa 1:6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
They are wicked from top to bottom. Absolutely repulsive to God. The “putrefying sores” have a bad smell to them. For a man to be seen right in eyes of God today he must come to Jesus Christ to become “without blemish” and “without spot”. (1 Peter 1:9)
Since they haven’t repented they are seen as wounds, bruises, and sores that haven’t been tended to. Mollified means softened or appeased.
Isa 1:7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
“Desolate”, that is, destitute and deprived of inhabitants. Their cities “burned” like Sodom. Strangers “devour” it, in their PRESENCE, while they are still there. It is over thrown by these strangers walking in and over taking them.
You bring people in your homes who are strangers to the things of God through entertainment and your family gets overthrown by them.
Isa 1:8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
What used to be glorious, the daughter of Zion, who is now without God, is like a “cottage” and a “lodge”. Like a little wooden shack in a vineyard or garden…but in a besieged city. A city surrounded by the enemy.
Today in my spiritual warfare I have God in me. So even though I’m surrounded by spiritual wickedness in high places, I’m not just a lodge or cottage but the temple of the Holy Ghost. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
Isa 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
Once again matching Genesis, the first book of the Bible, because in it you see Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19.
Israel is a very small nation, Isaiah is speaking to the smallest kingdom, Judah. The northern kingdom was much bigger. And there is a VERY SMALL REMNANT that comes out of the smallest kingdom of this small nation. This is a great illustration of what Jesus said.
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
It said “we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been made like unto Gomorrah”. Kind of puts you also in a tribulation context because in that time it will be “as it were in the days of LOT”. (Luke 17:28) And during that time Jerusalem will spiritually be called “Sodom and Egypt”. (Revelation 11:8)
Isa 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
Eze 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
America is also full of pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness. The ingredients for God haters and sex perversion.
Isa 1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
Israel is so wicked he is even referring to them as Sodom and Gomorrah! It is very fitting to refer to a wicked sex perverted country as Sodom. (America.)
He says “give ear unto the law of our God”. Today man’s ears are full of perverted rap songs, podcasts, and everything ungodly.
Isa 1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
He said “what purpose?” What is the motive behind the sacrifices, offerings, feasts, and meetings? It is really for God or an attempt to outweigh their unrepentant evil with good? If the sacrifices and offerings come from an unrepentant heart, than the sacrifices and offerings aren’t good, they are an abomination.
Pro 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
The LORD doesn’t even DELIGHT in good things if they are out of an evil unrepentant heart.
Isa 1:12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
The LORD has required it but they are doing it for the sake of tradition, not out of a pure heart.
Isa 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
“Oblations” are their offerings but they are “vain” because their purpose behind bribing them is completely flawed.
He says he “cannot away with” the sabbaths, the new moons, and the feasts. He calls it “iniquity” because of their heart attitude while doing them.
Amo 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
Amo 5:22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
Amo 5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
Compare to a church service or big time revival today. The evangelists are egotists. Their pride is written all over their faces. They hide it not. The revivals are disgusting self promotion and pats on the back that stink in the nostrils of God. If the “meetings” aren’t to praise and honour God they are an abomination and vain.
Isa 1:14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
Just like today in many churches and preacher meetings the LORD can’t stand sitting in there. He’s ready for it to be over. It’s a total ego trip for many self absorbed so called “men of God”. God’s long suffering runs out in a mess like that.
Isa 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
This matches Genesis once more. The LORD hides himself from Cain in Genesis 4:14 because he shed his brother’s blood.
Paul talks about “lifting up holy hands” in prayer. Israel and Judah couldn’t do that because the hands were dripping with blood. One of the things the LORD hates is hands that shed innocent blood.
When it comes to me and you today, God isn’t hiding himself from you. As a child of God in the body of Christ you go directly into the throne room and the moment you open your lips in prayer you can be in fellowship and he is hearing your voice.
Isa 1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
He said “wash you, make you clean” and this shows you that none of those things they were offering had been doing them any good. They hadn’t been washed.
They were supposed to do offerings and sacrifices but since it wasn’t out of a pure heart it wasn’t doing any good. The prescribed sacrifices would give them temporary forgiveness but not if it was out of a wicked heart.
Pro 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
Psa 119:9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
As a born again believer in the New Testament body of Christ you are already washed in the blood permanently. When it comes to your practical walk the blood can cleanse you and keep you in fellowship.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
When you got saved your soul was born again and made sinless but you still have to “cleanse yourself” when it comes to the flesh and spirit.
2Co 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
He said “put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes”. The only way to get your evil ways from before his eyes is to completely stop doing it. Because God sees it all. We can’t reach sinless perfection obviously, but we should strive to live as close to God as we can, until we shed this vile body.
He said “cease to do evil”. That means quit it. 2 Timothy 2:19 says “let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity”.
17-20 reminds us of Genesis once again, specifically Genesis 4:7.
Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
Isa 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Isa 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Isa 1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Isa 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
When you become a child of God you have to “learn to do well”. Paul said “study to be quiet.” (1 Thess 4:11). Peter said to “grow in grace and in the knowledge of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ. “ You learn to do well when you learn how Jesus lives.
Isaiah talks about helping those who can’t help their selves as much as other. The oppressed, fatherless, and widows.
Job 31:16 If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;
Job 31:17 Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof;
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
God is “reasonable”. Why would an almighty righteous God reason with us and the majority of men won’t reason with him?
Our sins are like stains like stick out. Scarlet, that is like an orange red. Crimson, that is a deep red like blood.
Jesus Christ will wash you in his blood and make you spotless and white as he is. He is the lamb without blemish and without spot.
Isa 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
2Co 8:12 For if there be first a willing mind
God is wanting people who are “willing” and doing things out of a pure heart with the right purpose.
If they were willing and obedient then they were guaranteed physical blessings. Today if you’re willing and obedient you are guaranteed spiritual blessings. Your guaranteed rewards that the judgment seat of Christ.
Isa 1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
If they can’t get right with God the strangers would come in and devour them in their presence. If you refuse and rebel today you’ll push yourself to an early grave.
Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
The “mouth of the LORD hath spoken it”. He hasn’t ever lied before. Romans 3:4 “let God be true but every man a liar”.
Isa 1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
The “faithful city” became an “harlot”. Harlots aren’t faithful to one man. Israel hadn’t been faithful to ONE GOD! They committed spiritual adultery.
A harlot doesn’t have a real relationship, real love, or safety. All a harlot has is money and material possessions. When you become unfaithful to the LORD you start focusing on the temporal and not the ETERNAL!
Notice they were faithful when they were “full of judgment”.
The bible is for judgment, but the world says don’t judge! The world says “judge not lest ye be judged”. They take Matthew 7 out of context.
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
These verses are warning against hypocritical judgment. Take the beam out of your own eye before you try to take the mote out of your brother’s eye.
1Co 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man
1Co 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
The sodomite wants to take away the “judgment” and the “righteousness” but the result is a place full of “murderers”. They won’t stop pushing the envelope with sodomy. It will go into beastiity, pedophilia, and eventually murder rape & cannibalism.
Once you take away the judgment from the scriptures and the righteousness from the scriptures than you have every man doing that which is right in his own eyes. (Judges 17:6)
Isa 1:22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:
It is “mixed with water”. Today Christianity is so watered down that you could listen to 500 sermons by the average pastor and starve to death. The sunday school literature, the programs, the music, and the entire atmosphere at most churches have nothing to do with the word of God. It is so watered down that they may be talking about Jesus Christ, or they may be talking about their boy friend. You can’t figure it out. They put the word “he” for the LORD Jesus Christ.
Isa 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
The leaders are corrupt. They are full of rebellion. A people usually go as far as their leaders. Notice they are “companions of thieves”. Proverbs 13:20 says “a companion of fools shall be destroyed”.
They “love gifts” and “follow after rewards.” Just like in politics today. When you take “gifts” and “rewards” it can pervert your judgment on things.
Just like when a preacher is concerned with offending rich church members it perverts his judgment and makes him hold back on what he’s preaching.
If the ruler loves gifts and rewards he will do wickedly in exchange for material, temporal, possessions. Just as Ahab “sold himself to work evil in the sight of the LORD”. (1 Kings 21:20)
Isa 1:24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
AH! God’s relief comes from his vengeance. Jesus Christ is the ultimate avenger.
Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
The LORD is the “mighty One of Israel”. He is the ALMIGHTY!
He destroys him who hath the power of death and the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. He always makes a shew of his enemies openly triumphing over them.
Isa 1:25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
“Turn my hand upon thee.” Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
God will purge or purify them the way metal is purified in a smelting pot. When he puts us through the fire it turns us into warriors if we come through to the other side.
The dross is the waste matter. The LORD wants to work on us and get off the useless sin and junk that we are laden with.
2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
Israel’s silver became “dross”, but one day he is going to restore them. He has to get rid of their dross by eliminating the wicked from among them.
Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
Mal 3:4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
Mal 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
Isa 1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
He is going to take “the city” and make it “the city of righteousness” again. This will be in the millennial reign of Jesus Christ.
Zec 8:3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
Isa 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
Zion, that is Jerusalem, the city of the great king. The LORD will judge their enemies to redeem Israel from among them.
Isa 1:28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
Hebrews 12:29 says “our God is a consuming fire”.
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Isa 1:29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.
These are like “tree huggers” and “nature worshippers”.
They would get in the high places and under the shadows of the trees to worship their idols.
“Oaks” are connected with bad things in the Bible. The young prophet sat under an oak and ended up eaten by the lion in 1 Kings 13. Jacob put the strange gods under the oak in Genesis 35.
Hos 4:13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.
Back when Adam & Eve sinned they hid “amongst the trees of the garden”. (Genesis 3:8)
Isa 1:30 For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.
But if you delight in the law of the LORD, your lead won’t wither and whatsoever you doeth shall prosper.
A garden with no water is a dead garden. You want to stay washed with water by the word so that you can bear the fruit of the Spirit.
Isa 1:31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
Tow is flax fibers, very flammable and a spark set to it ignites a devouring fire. None shall quench them. Nothing can quench the lake of fire.
These trees where men worship, the makers of the idols, and idols themselves will all burn up together.
